Critic communication in the Orient

The Dubai Airshow closed its doors with a sand storm for French aviation and the Rafale offer, deemed “uncompetitive”. An unexpected opportunity for the Eurofighter which is also on short final in India, but the performance of which in Libya however, paled in comparison to the French fighter.Once again French Industry had to make this known aggressively but without arrogantly relying on the only political halo effect which France enjoys after the Arab Spring. The British clearly won this communications battle. And the cold shower from the Swiss has not improved the tactical situation... Next not to be missed media occasion at the Singapore Airshow in February. Aero3A will be there to support its partners.

Wind from the East

Following Paris Air Show, summer news on aerospace and defence activities moved east to MAKS. The Moscow show presented the renewal of Russian industry in full reorganization. The country’s political goal is a rapid return to the world stage, and this was illustrated by the first public appearance of the T-50, the future Russian fighter. However, developments in the field of commercial aviation are what really measure this return to being a majorplayer. In addition to the Superjet  100, it is Irkut’s MC-21 program that holds the key to success, with Aero3A now ensuring the company’s international PR. Moscow’s door is open wide to partnerships. No doubt about it, there will soon be a reward for the perseverance of the European companies who support these programs!

Impulse

The arrival of Solar Impulse at the latest Paris Air Show was a major event. Politicians, the media, sponsors and the public at large all jumped on the bandwagon to praise this strange and fragile giant bird. With a majestic flight, it closed a historical week for the aeronautics industry. At a time when sustainable development is the topic on everyone’s lips, aviation has once again showed that it is a pioneer by featuring avant-garde technologies that promise a more responsible future. In France, the solid CORAC approach supported by Aero3A, represents another very concrete step forward along this road to progress, a step with broad impact that is far from utopian.
